Each year the hard work of our dancers culminates in an end-of-the year recital. The Dance Center's recitals will be held in the new Lewis and Clark Auditorium. The Jazz and Tap Show will be on Friday, June 14th,
2002. Two Ballet Shows will be held on June 15th. The Jazz and Tap shows will rehearse on June 12th, and the Ballet Shows rehearsals on June 13th. We're excited to be dancing in the newly remodeled, air-conditioned theatre!
Congratulations INDA Scholarship Winners
Dance Center students received three of the four scholarships awarded at the Inland Northwest Dance Teachers Association (INDA) workshop held in October. Alisha Burger received a scholarship in Tap. Pat DesRosiers received a scholarship in Ballet. Mikayla Osborne received a scholarship in Jazz.
The annual INDA workshop brings in top quality instructors from California, Oregon and Seattle. This year special guest artists and instructors included a Mexican Flamenco dancer. It was a super workshop, and Shari is so proud of how hard everyone from The Dance Center worked. Great job to all!
